I’ve been gone for a while. It’s Christmas break and I’m finally home for the holidays. I was also working all week this week but it’s about time I get back to this blog again! I’ve got quite a few questions to answer. Here you go! Enjoy!
YOUR FAVORITE HOUSEHOLD CHORE:
Washing dishes. No, not rinsing them and placing them in the dishwasher. I mean actually going at a large pot with a bunch soap and a scrubber. I find it to be very relaxing. It’s like a nightly bubble bath to the hands.
THE BEST GIFT YOU COULD EVER RECEIVE:
I am so bad at these questions. I didn’t even know what I wanted for Christmas until a week ago…The best gift I could ever receive? Maybe just your presence and your attention.
MUSIC THAT HELPS YOU RELAX:
I don’t know if I’ve ever talked about this on my blog but I have a very eclectic taste in music. Not to gloat but it’s one of my favorite things about myself. I can listen to anything from the most recent pop hits to musical theatre cast recordings to original instrumental film scores to classic 80s rock to country jams to rap…etc. Needless to say, I can listen to practically anything, so the type of music that helps me relax changes quite frequently.
For a long time, it was Niall Horan’s album Flicker that came out in October.
If I didn’t know what to listen to, I was put that album on and it was perfect for every moment. I’ve moved past that even though I still love it. I seem to be back into musical theatre since The Greatest Showman just hit theaters and the soundtrack is phenomenal.
ONE THING YOU’D LIKE TO SEE:
This is a very vague statement and I’m not sure what to make of it…
I really want to see The Lion King on Broadway!
FAVORITE WINTER TRADITIONS:
My family has never been big on traditions besides the stereotypical ‘waking up early on Christmas morning and opening presents.’ I haven’t watched a single Christmas movie yet or drunk hot chocolate or done any Christmas shopping (God help me!).
I suppose my favorite winter tradition would be Christma Eve when my extended family gets together, though that will probably be awkward this year considering we’ve had a bit of a panic in the last few days regarding my cousin.
ADVICE YOU’D GIVE TO SOMEONE ELSE YOUR AGE:
Everybody is going to be asking you what you’re going to do with your life and it’s okay to say “I don’t know.” You’re not required to give an educated guess to please them.
SOMETHING ALL PEOPLE SHOULD NOW:
Something all people should know about me? Or just in general?
About Me: I was a phenomenal rock climber when I was about 10 or 11 years old. Everybody called me ‘Spider-Girl’ and a group of boys even asked me for lessons one day. It probably the only time in my life that I was ever popular.
In General: Don’t spend your life searching for something you may never find.
